Stephanie Hadley, President, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Stephanie received her undergraduate degree from Boise State University (1991) and her graduate degree from Northwest Nazarene University (2003).
Stephanie currently works at Align Hospice Care. She has worked with Family Connections in many capacities, she was employed with Life's Kitchen and worked with transitioning young adults, she has provided parent education courses with Drug Free Idaho, she has worked in private practice, and she has been in the field of mental health and in juvenile probation.
Stephanie is an active member in the Idaho Society for Clinical Social Work and has served as the Vice President. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is a Board Member of the Clinical Social Work Association.

Charles S. Pohl, LCSW/CGP - Vice-President
Charlie is a child of the deinstitutionalization movement of the 1960's and 70's. Having received his BA in psychology from Moravian College (Bethlehem, PA) in 1974, he worked as a caseworker in a community mental health center there until returning to school and receiving his MSW from the University of Utah in 1981. After a stint in the oil patch of Wyoming, he moved to Ohio where he worked as a clinical social worker in a hospital based mental health center becoming a supervisor and manager half time for the last four years there. He moved to Idaho in 1991 working for a year in Region III Family and Children's Services before becoming the Coordinator of Therapy Services for St. Alphonsus Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit until 1999 when he moved to the Boise VA Medical Center.
He currently coordinates the Social Work Intern Program in addition to his clinical responsibilities. He continues in his fourth year as adjunct faculty at the Graduate School of Social Work at Boise State University. He is also a courtesy clinical instructor with the University of Washington Medical School working with the psychiatric residency program at the Boise VA Medical Center.

Renee D. Hatten, Program Coordinator
Renee has been kicking around Boise area with her husband and two girls, 11 and 7 since 1992, when she moved here from Vermont.
Renee began her private practice from scratch one year later, making a point of "meetin' and greetin'" to become professionally known in Idaho as well New England. She maintains her private practice today, specializing in addictions, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, couples counseling, using expressive arts, whenever she has a chance to, with plans to train in EMDR Spring 2009.
Renee got her MSW from Boston College in 1983, working in child protection systems, both private and state, upon graduation. She also worked for a few years in a private substance abuse outpatient program in Burlington, VT. In her spare time (ha-ha) she enjoys many of the area recreational options, travel and creating some type of art.

Samantha Martin, LMSW Secretary
Samantha graduated summa cum laude from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology in 2008. Three short months later, she returned to her hometown of Boise, Idaho to begin the 2-year Master's in Social Work program at Boise State University. At the beginning of her second year in the program, Samantha was blessed with the opportunity to join the Idaho Society of Clinical Social Work and work with the board as the Scholar In Residence. Samantha also spends much of her time at Boise Behavioral Health Hospital, working as an intern in the Social Services Department of the hospital. After graduation in May, she hopes to obtain a job in social work and begin pursuing clinical licensure.
In her free time, which is hard to find these days, Samantha enjoys spending time with her new husband and their 3-year old Yellow Lab/Sharpei mix, Ollie.

Laura Curtis, LCSW, Membership Chair
Laura Curtis, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing with Northwest Neurobehavioral Health, LLC. Laura completed her undergraduate degree in Child Development/Family Relations at the University of Idaho in 2002 and completed her Masters of Social Work at Boise State University in 2009. Her graduate studies focused on building a referral program to link children in foster care to mental health services as well as the research and development of a therapeutic curriculum for children of incarcerated parents. Laura has served on the Board of the Idaho Society for Clinical Social Work since 2008. Laura's clinical work focuses on assisting children and their families experiencing transitional/adjustment struggles, attachment disruptions, abuse related difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders, brain injury, parenting difficulties, trauma and/or mental illness. Her goal is to educate and assist children and their families in building a working understanding of brain development, recognizing their strengths, enhancing self-esteem, and building the skills necessary for successful relationships within the family, with peers, and in social environments.

Christine McFarlin, Board Member at Large
As an LMSW working in the Caldwell Community Based Outreach Clinic of the Veteran's Administration, Christine provides Behavioral Health and other social work services to the veteran's living in Canyon County and the surrounding areas. She is required to be well organized, as she does all of her own scheduling and documentation in a timely fashion, of the many referrals and consults she receives on a daily and weekly basis. Prior to coming to the VA, she worked as a hospice social worker, providing care to over 65 patients all over the Treasure Valley. She also served as the Bereavement Coordinator of the agency, following the families of the deceased for up to 13 months after their loved ones passed.
Christine graduated from Boise State University in May 2008 with my Master's Degree. She completed my internship at the Boise VA Medical Center on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. During her internship and since obtaining my licensure, she has become proficient at psychosocial assessments of individuals with behavioral health issues and substance use disorders. She provides therapy services for veterans and their families and facilitate outpatient substance abuse education and support for recovering veterans.

Kelly Victorine, LMSW, Newsletter Historian
Kelly received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Idaho State University in 2005. After graduating she worked as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist for one year and then moved to Spokane where she worked as a Registered Counselor/Case Manager. Deciding that her family missed the Boise area, they decided to move back to the City of Trees. In 2007, she obtained her Developmental Specialist Certification and worked at Advocates for Inclusion creating and implementing developmental programs for children with Autistic Spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. In 2008, Kelly started the Masters of Social Work program where she completed internships at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, First Choice Home Care, and the Boise VA Medical Center. Kelly graduated in 2010 and is currently an LMSW working at the Center for Human Growth facilitating Day Treatment groups as well as Individual Psychotherapy. She enjoys working with adults, especially the elderly, and is currently working towards her clinical licensure. Kelly is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, the Idaho Group Psychotherapy Network, and the Idaho Society for Clinical Social Work.
